Hi there, nice to meet you!

My name is Anson, founder and primary photographer of Anson K. Photography. I am a freelance photographer in Singapore specialising in events and documentary photography.

I first picked up photography as a hobby about a decade ago when I saved up enough moolah to purchase my first DSLR camera (because which self-proclaimed photographer did not start with a DSLR back in the day right?!?). Since then, I was, and still am, deeply mesmerized by the art of photography. There is something magical about making a memorable moment last forever through images. It is exactly because of such emotion, that I have made it a personal aspiration of mine, to help other people capture moments that are meaningful to them.

Despite specialising in both Events and Documentary Photography, Documentary Photography is the very kind of photography art that resonates the most with me. As such, regardless of whether I am undertaking an Event or Documentary Photography, I make it a point to instill elements of documentary photography in my works.

Having shared with you my photography aspiration and style, my life is not all about shutters and clicks. When I am away from my photography, I am a marketer and a father to two young children. Whenever I manage to find some free time from my commitments, I enjoy listening to sermons from Pastor Joseph Prince and catching up with some trending Netflix series alongside a cup of coffee with my wife. My motto in life is really to enjoy the little and simple things in life.
